1. SERVICES COVERED

These Terms & Conditions apply to:

  • One-on-one sessions — currently delivered remotely via Zoom, Kajabi or phone; may include in-person sessions at rented venues
  • Online courses and programs — live and recorded, delivered via Kajabi or other digital platforms
  • In-person courses and workshops — held at rented venues
  • Online workshops — live and recorded, delivered via Zoom or other digital platforms
  • Digital products — recordings, guides, PDFs, and other downloadable or streamable content

2. FEES & PAYMENT

All fees are listed at the time of purchase and are due in full unless a payment plan is offered and selected at checkout.

Payment plans are processed through Stripe via the Kajabi platform. By selecting a payment plan you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on the schedule displayed at checkout. If a payment fails you will be notified and given a reasonable opportunity to update your payment information. Failure to complete a payment plan may result in suspension of access to the program or product until payment is resolved.

All prices are in US dollars. I reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already made.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

One-on-one sessions:

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your session receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session forfeit the full session fee
  • No-shows forfeit the full session fee
  • Once a session has been delivered in full, no refund will be issued

Online and in-person courses and programs:

  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed the first session or module
  • After 7 days or after accessing the first session or module, no refund will be issued
  • If you are on a payment plan and request a refund within the eligible window, remaining scheduled payments will be cancelled and any eligible refund will be processed

Online and in-person workshops:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made 3-7 days before the workshop date receive a 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before the workshop date forfeit the full fee
  • In the event I cancel a workshop, a full refund will be issued

Digital products:

  • All digital product sales are final. No refunds will be issued once a digital product has been accessed or downloaded

I am committed to the quality of everything I offer. If you have concerns about a purchase please reach out to support@courtneylacava.com before requesting a refund and I will do my best to address them.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content created and shared by Courtney LaCava — including but not limited to course materials, workshop content, session recordings, written guides, PDFs, audio recordings, video recordings, and any other materials — is the sole intellectual property of Courtney LaCava and is protected by applicable copyright law.

By purchasing or participating you agree that:

  • You may not record, screenshot, download, reproduce, redistribute, resell, share, or publish any content without my prior written consent
  • You may not use any of my content to create derivative works or train artificial intelligence models
  • Materials are licensed for your personal use only and may not be shared with others
  • Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of my content may result in immediate termination of access without refund and may result in legal action

5. COURSE RECORDINGS & PARTICIPANT CONFIDENTIALITY

Sessions in my courses and group programs are recorded for the sole purpose of providing enrolled participants with access to replays. Recordings are not shared publicly, sold, or distributed outside of the enrolled participant group. Your face, voice, name, and contributions will not be used in any marketing materials, social media, or public content without your separate written consent.

To protect the safety and confidentiality of all participants, you agree not to record, screenshot, or share any portion of course sessions — including other participants’ contributions, likenesses, or personal disclosures — outside of this program. Violation of this clause may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

6. WORKSHOP RECORDINGS & CONSENT

Workshops — both online and in-person — may be recorded. Recordings may be used for educational purposes, made available to registered participants, or repurposed as digital products or marketing content including but not limited to social media, promotional materials, and course content.

By registering for a workshop you acknowledge that your face, voice, name, and any contributions you make during the workshop may be captured and used in this way.

If you do not wish to appear on camera during an online workshop you may keep your camera off. Your audio contributions may still be captured. For in-person workshops, your presence in the venue constitutes consent to being filmed in group shots and general session footage.

If you have specific concerns about your appearance in recordings please contact support@courtneylacava.com before the event.

7. IN-PERSON EVENTS

For in-person courses and workshops held at rented venues:

  • You attend at your own risk. I am not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property occurring at or in connection with in-person events
  • You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue
  • Venue-specific rules and regulations apply and must be followed
  • I reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or harmful to other participants, without refund
  • In the event of venue cancellation, natural disaster, public health emergency, or other circumstances beyond my control, I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer a credit toward a future event. Refunds in such circumstances will be at my discretion.

8. PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION

Email collection: By purchasing a product or service or signing up for my email list, your email address will be collected and stored on my Kajabi platform. You may unsubscribe at any time. I do not sell your email address or personal information to third parties.

Website and platform analytics: My website and Kajabi platform use Google Analytics and Kajabi’s built-in analytics tools to track general website traffic and user behavior. This data is collected in aggregate and used to improve my offerings. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy and Kajabi’s Privacy Policy for full details on how these platforms handle data.

Payment information: Payment information is processed and stored by Stripe. I do not store your credit card or payment details. Please refer to Stripe’s Privacy Policy for full details.

Your rights: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@courtneylacava.com. If you are an EU resident, GDPR applies to your data and you have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

All services and products are provided as-is. I make no guarantee of specific results or outcomes. Testimonials and examples shared in my marketing materials represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same results.

​10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, my total liability for any claim arising from my services or products shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim. I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

11. CONDUCT & COMMUNITY STANDARDS

By participating in any course, workshop, or group program you agree to:

  • Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect
  • Maintain the confidentiality of what other participants share in group settings
  • Not record, screenshot, or share other participants’ contributions without their consent
  • Engage in good faith and take responsibility for your own experience

I reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these standards without refund.

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regardless of your location. Any disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Essex County, Massachusetts under the rules of the American Arbitration Association on an individual basis — no class actions.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

I reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on my website. Your continued participation in or purchase of my services after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
